Open to freelance

With more than a decade of experience as a designer and researcher, I've explored different paths, learned new skills, and grew in others.

My past experience as a cultural anthropologist and archaeologist has shaped how I approach design and qualitative research. I enjoy solving hard socio-cultural problems from an equity lens, promoting decolonizing design thinking to guide design practice, and defining internal research and design processes.

Before NCX, I spent the previous decade working on research and product design for Spora Health; Illustrations, interactions, and research for Google, Design system and consumer experience for Portland Leather Goods; and lots of other stuff for start ups and freelance gigs.
