Landowners were struggling to find relevant programs because there was only one path to finding programs and requesting information, it took time and it caused friction. A/B tests showed that landowners were facing a lot of friction and users were dropping out of the funnel.

To help landowners find programs quicker, I designed an in-platform messaging system that connects program developers directly with qualified landowners through exclusive invites. This experience gave program developers the ability to send an exclusive invitation message of interest to landowners — but landowners had the final say to accept or decline to connect.

Conversion increased
This design increased conversion to request program information, and we saw more landowners signing up for programs after the inital conversation.
